Clinical UX for Medical Imaging

We were tasked with envisioning how medical professionals could analyze complex skin and tissue conditions using DeepView’s multispectral imaging sensor and AI-driven diagnostic intelligence. The challenge was not only to visualize non-visible data, but to do so in a way that supported rapid, high-stakes clinical decision-making.

A new design system needed to be immediately legible, cognitively efficient, and operational under extreme stress including overcrowded burn wards and trauma environments. The interface had to support clinicians with varying levels of technical experience while maintaining the rigor required for medical-grade accuracy.

The result was a clinical-grade design system that transformed dense multispectral and AI data into clear, actionable insight. One built to perform reliably when time, attention, and certainty are in shortest supply.
